Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased. 257pp. Biography of the important, versatile Czech author Karel Capek whose novels created a sensation in London in the 1920s. His word 'robot' was introduced into the Oxford English Dictionary. Tucked in is a note to Professor Dumbreck by the author plus comments on other printed extracts about Capek.
