In Venetia, appresso Giacomo de' Franceschi, 1619, in-4, contemporary full parchment binding, handwritten title on the spine, red tinted edges, leaves [24], [1], from 3 to 219, [2: the first is blank], from 2 to 27, from this point the pages are numbered, [2], 243, [1]. With hundreds of woodcuts throughout the text (many of them are full page illustrations) and ornamented initials. Every book has its own title-page. One leaf (K4) lacks a little portion of a margin (away from the text): a nice copy, in its first binding. This work was of great importance in spreading the new manneristic tendencies all over Europe.
